About

Where it began.

My wife Sue and I spend our summers at the family cottage in Port Albert, Ontario, and most days we have our friends and family around the fire pit for Happy Hour. It wasn’t until our friend Cindy, who had recently undergone knee surgery, came to visit that I noticed that she was having trouble getting in and out of her chair due to the depth of the chair.

That’s when the wheels started to turn and I told Sue…

“I’m Going To Make Something”

Two years and several prototypes later, we have landed on the final product. A deck chair booster seat that is not only functional for those with decreased mobility, but for those searching for extra comfort when sitting on deck chairs. At the Deck Chair Booster Seat Company, we understand that the struggle is real, and that’s why we’re here to help.
